Job Introduction
We are now recruiting for an individual with experience of warehouse functions to join our Warehouse Goods In Team as a Warehouse Stock Controller at our Distribution Centre in Amesbury, Wiltshire.
Our Stock Controllers ensure the efficient movement of stock through the warehouse process from Goods In to Goods Out, as well as highlighting and solving problems where necessary.
Working 37.50 hours per week, you will cover any 5 days from 7, which will include weekends, working night shift 10pm - 6am.
Job Overview
- Correct stock not being picked - “not sents”
- Ensure stock is in the correct pick locations
- Solve queries regarding deliveries and individual products
- Check Best Before Dates, batch numbers and barcodes
- Organise stock into bins
- Complete aisle and bin checks throughout the shift
- Stock take
Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Experience of working in different areas of a warehouse (e.g. pick, Goods In)
- A basic understanding of stock control
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Previous experience using Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) is preferred, although full training will be provided
