- Night shift - 6pm to 6am
- Based in Huyton, Liverpool.
- 28 days paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 33 days upon 5 years' service

As a Logistics Controller, you will be responsible for the accurate placement of stock in designated locations, maintaining and accounting for stock levels within the Converting Operation, and overseeing the control of Goods In/Out through the loading and unloading yard area. Your role will be essential in ensuring stock is efficiently managed and flows smoothly through the operation.
Job Overview
- Coordinating the efficient movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Allocating stock to designated storage and picking areas.
- Monitoring stock levels and ensuring stock availability.
- Investigating missing stock, discrepancies, and allocation issues.
- Working collaboratively to manage product returns, stock transfers, and inventory updates.
- Supporting the Production Team by ensuring accurate product details and pick locations.
- Implementing and maintaining efficient stock sequencing processes.
- Following all health and safety procedures and promoting best practices in goods handling.
- Conducting continuous checks on the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for receipted stock.
- Identifying and investigating stock issues using WMS data and reports.
- Managing product queries to ensure correct handling processes (automation or manual).
- Assisting other departments, such as Buying and Finance, with stock-related queries.
- Maintaining full compliance with health and safety training and company policies.
- Escalating recurring stock issues to the relevant manager.
Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience in stock control and/or inventory management (desirable).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency using Warehouse Management Systems and other computer-based systems.
- An FLT driver qualification (desirable).
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills.
- The ability to guide and influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent record-keeping skills.
