Job Introduction

We are now recruiting for an individual with experience of warehouse functions to join our Warehouse Goods In Team as a Warehouse Stock Controller at our Distribution Centre in Liverpool

Our Stock Controllers ensure the efficient movement of stock through the warehouse process from Goods In to Goods Out, as well as highlighting and solving problems where necessary.

Working 37.50 hours per week, you will cover any 5 days from 7, which will include weekends, working alternating weekly shift times of 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm.

Job Overview

  • Rotating 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm with fixed weekday rest days - for example, if your allocated rest days are Monday and Tuesday, in one week you will work Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 2pm - 10pm, in the following week (from the Sunday) the same working days will be worked on the 6am - 2pm shift.
  • Correct stock not being picked - “not sents”
  • Ensure stock is in the correct pick locations
  • Solve queries regarding deliveries and individual products
  • Check Best Before Dates, batch numbers and barcodes
  • Organise stock into bins
  • Complete aisle and bin checks throughout the shift
  • Stock take

Minimum Criteria To Apply

  • Experience of working in different areas of a warehouse (e.g. pick, Goods In)
  • A basic understanding of stock control
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Previous experience using Manual Handling Equipment (MHE) is preferred, although full training will be provided
