Package

• £59,107.36 + £7,506.64 NSA
• Panama shift pattern (2 shifts on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) - 12 hour shifts from 6pm - 6am

Job Introduction

Based at our purpose built Head Office and Distribution Centre at Axis Business Park, Gillmoss, Liverpool, we are now recruiting for an experienced and highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our night shift team.

Automation Engineers help run and maintain our automated handling system, including miniload, cranes and conveyor systems.

Our Engineering and Facilities Team are responsible for ensuring that equipment is maintained to a high standard and keeping production downtime to an absolute minimum.

Job Overview

The primary focus of the engineering team is to drive efficiency through the effective maintenance of all automated processes across the site.

Having the ability to quickly and safely deduce the cause of any fault and return equipment to operational capability to minimise any disruption to core activities is crucial.

Minimum Criteria To Apply

• HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering
• Experience of working with automated handling systems
• Experience of working at heights
• Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good level of computer literacy
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience of Computer Maintenance Management Systems
