Store Team Member
Our Store Team Members are the heart of Home Bargains - where being a Store Team Member means more than just stocking shelves. It's about creating an exceptional retail experience, greeting customers with a warm smile, and embodying the 'can-do' spirit that defines our community.
General (Fill, Tills, Tidy)
You'll be at the heart of it all, greeting customers, replenishing shelves, and working across different departments from fresh food to seasonal while always delivering fantastic standards.
Gaining valuable skills in customer service, retail operations, teamwork, and communication in a fast-paced environment where every shift brings variety.
Café
You’ll prepare drinks and food, serve customers, handle deliveries, and keep everything clean, stocked, and welcoming. Every task helps create a smooth, enjoyable experience.
Gaining valuable skills in food hygiene, hospitality, and retail, learning on the job in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where no two days are the same.
Bakery
You’ll bake fresh goods, check product dates, stock displays, and keep everything clean, safe, and running smoothly. Every task helps deliver the quality our customers can count on.

Garden Centre
You’ll be right at the heart of it all, watering and caring for plants, creating inspiring displays, helping customers at the tills, replenishing stock, and keeping the space clean and welcoming.

Team Leader
Our Store Team Leaders play a key role in keeping our stores running smoothly and delivering the great service our customers know and love. More than just supporting day-to-day operations, they lead by example, motivate their teams, and help create a positive shopping experience while maintaining the high standards that define Home Bargains.
Leadership
Lead by example to motivate and support the team, creating a positive working environment while ensuring daily operations run efficiently and effectively.
Customer Experience
Deliver excellent customer service by supporting the team to provide a welcoming, helpful, and efficient shopping experience for every customer.
Operational Standards
Maintain high standards across the store, ensuring shelves are well stocked, displays are presented correctly, and health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
Team Development
Support the training, coaching, and development of colleagues, helping them build confidence, improve performance, and progress within their roles.
